Bateau:It is also called “Boat neck” or “Sabrina”. A high, wide straight neckline that runs straight across the front and back, meeting at the shoulders; the same depth in the front and back.It forms a classic high neck silhouette.
Bateau necklines were made popular by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Audrey Hepburn. In fact, this neckline was nicknamed the “sabrina” neckline because of a famous bateau neckline dress that Audrey wore in the movie Sabrina.
