Wills Lifestyle started sponsoring India Fashion Week in the year 2000 which is a platform for all the designers from all over the country to showcase their talent and designs. It is also India’s largest national business event. As fashion keeps on changing from season to season WLIFW keeps you updated on what’s in vogue in the upcoming seasons.
Wills Lifestyle fashion show is a bi-annual event which is dedicated to the fashion fraternity. WLIFW also provides a platform for the upcoming debut designers to showcase their collection. As you will notice in all fashion shows, they are based on a theme. Every designer has its own theme and all their silhouettes are based on that theme.
With every season the color, trend, the silhouette pattern changes so with the help of WLIFW the fashion industry comes together on a common platform.
WLIFW provides with high level of business for designers as they say that fashion is not only for glamour but it can also be taken as a serious business. The fashion designers can endorse their brands and establish trade links in Indian market and overseas.
Our Indian culture and clothes are widely appreciated abroad so WLIFW is just a platform of communication between the designers and the foreign buyers. There are approximately 82 designers and about 150 domestic and international buyers who are invited for this event.
